The New Music On The Point Festival and Scrag Mountain Music present Sounds of the Earth, a festival celebrating the natural soundscape-inspired music of Pulitzer Prize-winning composer and environmental activist John Luther Adams. The afternoon will include live music, vocal and drumming workshops, children’s activities, raffles, food trucks & more! Featuring performances by the JACK Quartet, TURNmusic, Rural Noise Ensemble, Jan Williams (percussion), Robert Black (bass), Eve Beglarian (composer), and participants of the New Music On The Point Festival.  Adams will be present at the festival to introduce some of his music.
